Meet Our Founder

Saffron & Stone was born from a love of beauty found in faraway places.

For years, I’ve cherished the joy of exploring markets, villages, and workshops across the world — returning home with treasures that carried stories of where they came from. India, Turkey, Portugal, Asia, Africa and byond — each journey added something new to my home. Every piece held its own memory, and together they created a living tapestry of color, texture, and artistry.

At first, it was personal. I delighted in displaying these treasures in my home, layering the warmth of handwoven textiles, carved stone, and block-printed fabrics into my everyday life. When friends and family gathered, I felt a sense of pride pulling out these pieces — not just for their beauty, but for the stories they carried. These weren’t just things; they were conversations, connections, and reflections of cultures I deeply admired.

Over time, I realized that what I had been curating for my own home could also bring joy to others. What started as collecting became a calling — to share the artistry of Eastern lands and global traditions in a way that felt approachable, modern, and meaningful. Saffron & Stone grew out of this vision: to weave together the vibrancy of heritage craft with the ease and beauty of everyday living.

Every collection reflects this journey. From the timeless grace of Rajasthani block printing to the softness of Turkish towels, from hand-embroidered textiles to jewelry inspired by ancient patterns, each item carries a story of where it came from and the hands that made it. Our hope is that, just as I once did, you’ll find pride and joy in making these pieces part of your own story — in your home, your gatherings, and your daily rituals.

Saffron & Stone is more than a shop; it’s a celebration of culture, craftsmanship, and the art of living beautifully.
